A Mother–Daughter Love for Habanero Heat
Farwat Foods was born from a deep love for cooking, a passion for bold flavour, and an obsession with the fiery kick of habanero peppers(known locally in Swahili as “Pilipili Mbuzi”). What began as homemade chilli sauce prepared by her mother for family meals soon became impossible to ignore. Friends and visitors kept asking for more and many insisted on taking a bottle home after just one taste.
Seeing the joy the sauces brought to others, Farwata realised her passion could become something bigger: a purpose-driven brand built around flavour, creativity, and quality. Inspired by her love for habanero peppers and her desire to reinvent how people experience heat, she transformed her kitchen creations into Farwat Foods.
Driven by innovation and a fearless approach to flavour, she later introduced Habanero Baobabs, a unique fusion that combines the intense heat of habanero peppers with the naturally tangy crunch of baobab-infused treats, creating a bold and unforgettable taste experience.
